At the Mobile World Congress (MWG) Last month, February 2018, the long awaited Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus were revealed. The two devices that will be the talk of the technology world for the next few weeks will be launched in India on March 6th even though the pre-booking of the two phones in the available colors, blue, black, and purple, has already started in India at the end of last month specifically on the 26th of it.
These three colors are available for the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus 64 GB, though, while the 256 GB devices are available only in black. Both variants were available for pre-booking at Rs 2000 which is a very small percentage of the prices of the two smart phones as the estimate price of Galaxy S9 in the US is $720 which is about Rs 47,000, while Galaxy S9 plus will be worth $480 or Rs 54,000.
Yet you do not have to worry because Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus are going on a global sale on the 16th of this month. Also the official prices of the two smart phones are yet to be announced, but these numbers are the closest estimates to their cost.
The prices of the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 plus will not seem so steep once they are put in perspective of their capabilities. For example, the Galaxy S9 will have a 4 GB RAM while the RAM of Galaxy S9 plus will be 6 GB. As for batteries, Galaxy S9 smart phone will have a 3000mAh battery and the battery of its sibling Galaxy S9 plus will be 3500mAh. The cameras on both phones will be equipped with “Super Speed Dual Pixel” sensor and will have dedicated processor power and memory to give both phones the ability to take pictures with the best quality.
Samsung also equipped both devices with a feature that is the first of its kind in any smart phone in the world which is “Dual Aperture”. This feature automatically adjusts the light of the camera to let in light when the surroundings of the phone are dark, and allow less light when its too bright which makes the photos taken by either of those phones clearer than photos taken by any other phone. And last but not least the “Super slow motion” feature that enables the video to take 960 frames per second.
