The parent company of Viber, Rakuten Viber, app has recently acquired Chatter Commerce, a startup that created a keyboard for mobile commerce, as a step on its way to enable users to make purchases during chats using Viber Messenger.
Viber Messenger is definitely on a very impressive track with its new features. At the end of June the app added new extensions that would help you, dear user, to do multiple activities without having to switch between apps.
This step comes four months after Viber launched its ‘instant shopping’ feature which Chatter Commerce also built. The ‘instant shopping’ feature lets users search, browse, discuss items with friends, as well as communicate with vendors.
